1. Introduction
Welcome to ItalyCultura.com! By using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully, and if you do not agree with any part, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Italy Cultura offers online Italian language lessons, including one-on-one personalized classes, group courses, and specialized programs like the “Travel Italian” crash course. All lessons are delivered online via video conferencing platforms unless otherwise stated.
3. Booking and Payment
One-on-One Lessons: Lessons are booked in advance through our website. Payment is required prior to the lesson, and promotions, such as discounted first lessons, will be automatically applied at checkout.
Group Classes: Group lessons follow a predefined schedule and must be paid for in full before the start of the course.
Do-It-Yourself Courses: Pre-recorded courses are available for purchase with access to the course material for a specified duration.
Promotions and Discounts: Promotions or discounts are subject to availability and may be modified or terminated at Italy Cultura’s discretion.
4. Rules of Conduct
To ensure a positive learning environment for all students:
Respect: Students must be respectful toward the teacher and other students. Any inappropriate behavior, including flirty jokes or inappropriate comments, will not be tolerated and may result in the student’s immediate removal from the class.
Communication: If there are any issues or changes to a lesson, students must communicate this promptly.
Cancellation and Rescheduling:
One-on-one lessons must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. If a student cancels last minute, the lesson will be charged unless it is an emergency, in which case it may be rescheduled once.
Group lessons cannot be rescheduled.

Contact Restrictions: Personal contact information with the teacher must not be exchanged. Any attempt to contact the teacher outside the platform is prohibited.
Respecting Teacher Boundaries: While our teachers are friendly and approachable, they are still professional instructors. Any form of inappropriate or personal behavior is unacceptable.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
One-on-One Lessons: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a lesson to be rescheduled. Late cancellations will be charged, except in cases of emergency (one-time exception).
Group Classes: Cancellations are not eligible for a refund once the course has started.
Missed Lessons: Refunds will not be granted for lessons that were missed or that the student attended.
Pre-Recorded Courses: Students may request a refund for pre-recorded, do-it-yourself courses within 14 days of purchase. Refunds will only be granted if less than 20% of the course content (including videos) has been accessed.
6. Refund Policy
One-on-One Lessons: Refunds can only be issued for unused lessons. No refunds are provided for completed or missed lessons.
Group Courses: Refunds are only available for group courses if the cancellation is requested at least 7 days before the course starts.
Pre-Recorded Courses: Refunds for pre-recorded, do-it-yourself courses can only be requested within 14 days of purchase and if less than 20% of the material has been used.
7. Student Responsibilities
Preparation: Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and access to the necessary technology for online lessons.
Punctuality: Students should attend lessons on time. No additional time will be given for late arrivals.
Course Levels: Students are responsible for enrolling in the correct course level. We encourage students to take a level test or schedule a consultation to ensure proper placement.
8. Intellectual Property
All lesson materials and content provided by Italy Cultura, including videos, texts, and resources, are the intellectual property of Italy Cultura. These materials cannot be reproduced, shared, or distributed without explicit permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Italy Cultura is not liable for any technical issues beyond our control, including internet or platform outages. In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule the affected lessons.
10. Changes to the Terms
Italy Cultura reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Italy.
